Sunday September 10, 2017 Springfield IL: Capital City Century. Distance options are 10 (group ride) 25, 40, 62 and 100 miles over flat to slightly rolling terrain. Sunday, September 24th, 2017 Decatur IL 4th Annual Prairie Pedal sponsored by Macon County Conservation Foundation. Proceeds from the ride benefit the protection of our air and water quality, natural areas, and wildlife diversity. Three routes on quiet country roads: 20, 40, and 62 mile. The registration fee includes fully stocked rest stops, SAG support, a t-shirt, and an after party with lunch and entertainment. Saturday September 30, 2017 River to Rail Ride, a benefit ride for construction of the Kickapoo Rail Trail, which will eventually traverse 24.5 miles of former rail right-of-way from Urbana in Champaign County to Kickapoo State Park in Vermilion County. Choose from one of three routes – 26 miles (which includes an already completed section of the Kickapoo Rail Trail), 44 (smooth) miles or 46 (gravel) miles.”
