Saturday, Sunday, September 1-3, 2017 Louisville, KY Old Kentucky Home Tour; Louisville Bicycle Club. According to PCC board member John Prince “I think this the best two-day ride in the nation’s mid-section, period.”

Sunday September 10, 2017 Springfield IL: Capital City Century. Distance options are 10 (group ride) 25, 40, 62 and 100 miles over flat to slightly rolling terrain. The CCC features organized food stops, SAG service, and a post-ride party at the Beach House on Lake Springfield. The 2011 ride had 866 participants.

Saturday September 16, 2017 Arthur IL Amish Country Bicycle Tour, sponsored by Decatur Bicycle Club. Distance options: 20, 42 and 60 miles, mostly over flat to rolling terrain, perfect for all bicycle types and all riders.

Sunday, September 24th, 2017 Decatur IL 4th Annual Prairie Pedal sponsored by Macon County Conservation Foundation. Proceeds from the ride benefit the protection of our air and water quality, natural areas, and wildlife diversity. Three routes on quiet country roads: 20, 40, and 62 mile. The registration fee includes fully stocked rest stops, SAG support, a t-shirt, and an after party with lunch and entertainment. The ride starts at Rock Springs Conservation Area in Decatur, Illinois 3939 Nearing Lane.

Saturday September 30, 2017 River to Rail Ride, a benefit for the Kickapoo Rail Trail. Choose a ride of 15, 32, or 67 miles over lightly traveled, flat to gently rolling country roads near the Champaign-Urbana community. Registration fee benefits the soon-to-be constructed Kickapoo Rail Trail. Post-ride lunch will be served. More information and registration form
